Welcome to our journey of The Step & The Trek.

Hey there! We are Evan & Courtney, the proud hosts of The Step and The Trek built right on our family farm in NY. Our adventure began in 2021 with a single cabin, The Step, built from scratch with nothing but faith, a lot of YouTube tutorials, and a dream. Fast forward six months, we opened our doors and were overwhelmed by the love and support from our amazing guests!

Seeing the success of The STEP, we took a leap of faith and built our second cabin, The TREK. We poured our hearts into it, learning from our experiences and striving to create a unique haven for all who visit. While neither cabin is perfect, they hold a special place in our hearts and have welcomed nearly 1,000 guests so far in just a couple years.

Our mission is clear: to continually build spaces and create unforgettable experiences where people can connect with nature and feel the presence of the Lord. We’re excited for what the future holds as we expand and enhance our offerings, making each stay a memorable one.
